THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SUMMIT

321BLINK CO-PRESIDENT TRIPP CLARKE ATTENDED THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SUMMIT IN WASHINGTON D.C.

“Last week I traveled to Washington D.C. to attend the Digital Transformation Summit presented by Dell Technologies. I was accompanied by my brother-in-law Pete Tseronis founder of Dots & Bridges. As the former Chief Technology Officer for the Department of Energy and the Department of Education, Pete formed Dots & Bridges to assist its clients throughout their business lifecycle, rooted in the discovery, cultivation, and fostering of relationships, with particular a particular focus on technology. Having spent almost thirty years in commercial and Cabinet-level roles, walking around the room with Pete was like walking through Pittsburgh with Franco Harris. I don’t think we made it more than twenty feet at a time without someone stopping Pete to say hello… whether it was a top executive at Dell or a Four Star General who Pete knew from the Pentagon.  It was quite the networking experience.

The goal of my field trip was to see how government and businesses in D.C. were tackling critical infrastructure issues and to see what bits of information that Pete and I might bring back to Pittsburgh as our city faces our own challenges as a global innovation city.

There will be more to come as we seek out leaders in the community who wish to be involved and ensure that Pittsburgh is a model moving into the future and not a city with so much to offer who missed an opportunity.”
